Jenita Moore
EMU was instrumental in my growth and development as a student and young adult entering into the workforce. I chose EMU because it was away from home but not too far. I had a great support system which consisted of faculty, staff, and student organizations that were truly concerned about me as a student and wanted to see me succeed.
Jenita Moore ‘93 graduated from Eastern with her Bachelor of Science in Public Law and Government with a minor in Communication. She currently serves as Senior Advisor for the Department of Insurance and Financial Legislation for the State of Michigan. She is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the department's legislative agenda.
Zach Wigal
I am so glad to have earned my bachelor's degree at EMU. At a young age, I knew I wanted to one day work in the video game industry. The community of students and faculty at Eastern were incredibly supportive. I'm forever grateful for the education I received during my time there.
Zach Wigal ‘16 graduated from Eastern with a degree in marketing and was recently named to the 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 class in the “Games” category. Laura Mortier
I chose EMU because it was close to home. My family is extremely important to me and I was able to go away to college, but also be home for all family functions, dinners with my mom, and to get my laundry done for free! EMU quickly became my second home once I got involved in programs the university offered. You feel part of something at EMU and I will carry that with me forever.
Laura Mortier ‘10 earned her Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Communication from EMU. She works as a Recreation Specialist for Canton Leisure Services overseeing the BLOCK Youth and Teen Center. Laura also oversees all of the township's special events and summer camps.
